Who is Smiling Pug?

My photo
Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
"I am a happy pug therefore.... I am a smiling pug"! My mum is called Smilingpug... after me! Because of her love of animals and nature, she is a Buddhist and a vegetarian (thank god). She is most inspired by the Dalai Lama. We live on the West Coast of Canada and I share my home with my two older feline sisters Tika and Kizzy and my NEW little brother Sam Cooper who... is all the way from MidSouth Pug Rescue in Tennessee!! I am 11 and I don't walk to well anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't get around! Welcome to my blog.

Happy Birthday to Us! (this ain't no April fools joke either!)

April 1, 2009.
We have entered into the double digits. Us girls, Tika and Kizzy are officially 10 years old! In celebration of our past decade, Mum has uploaded various pics of us posing. Aren't we adorable? Here is to another 10 years.

A day in the Country

Mum strapped the bike to the back of the car, loaded me into the passenger seat and set off to Aunty Justine's in Lindell Beach for the day. I was a long car ride up there.... took over an hour. After the final stretch around Cultus Lake we arrived at Nomad's home. Nomad came up the drive and barked hello, we exchanged a bit of butt sniffing too. Unfortunately Mum did not get any pics of Nomad. There is lots of yard at this house and many little feathered birds running around cock-a-doodling. We walked down the long road while the human's rode the bikes. I ran so fast to keep up but Mum said she eventually had to slow down to allow me to keep up. I got to see horses up close and a donkey! I had so much fun, I love visiting Nomad and his many cat siblings!

The big Pug Explosion!

Mum took me outside on a nice sunny day for some grooming. I was a good boy. How do I know I was a good boy? Because I was given yummy snacks afterward and much praise. I really enjoyed the massage, I sat there and closed my eyes and started to doze off. Anyway mum took some pics and wow she was right, I was really shedding lots! No wonder the vacuum is so clogged with fur!! Mum says it looks like a pug exploded on the lawn. Take a look.

Count down until our Mum's Birthday!
